According to the product label, Vetmedin should be administered orally. Vetmedin comes in beef flavored chewable tablets that make giving your dog their medication easy. Vetmedin is most effective when given at least one hour before meals, as food can reduce its absorption. However, hiding the chewable tablet in a small treat (like a piece of soft cheese or a pill pocket) can help make it more enjoyable for your dog without interfering with its efficacy. Always follow the veterinarian's prescribed dosage and timing for best results.
