How does Seresto for Cats work?
Seresto Cat collars gets right to work killing existing fleas within 24 hours after initial application of the collar. After 24 hours, any new fleas on the cat are killed within 2 hours with protection against further flea infestation lasting 8 months. The prevention of new tick infestations starts at 48 hours after application of the collar. Any new ticks on the cat are killed as quickly as 6 hours after initial 24-hour application. Cautions:

Seresto kills lice on dogs for one month, and aids in the treatment and control of sarcoptic mange.
How should Seresto be applied?
Remove the collar from the tin and laminated bag and place the collar around your pet's neck. Push one end of the collar through the loop and adjust for correct fit. Carefully snip off the excess collar with scissors.
What are the potential side effects of Seresto?
Pets may experience some temporary irritation at the site of product application. If signs persist or become more severe within a few days of application, consult a veterinarian immediately.

Seresto for Cats Directions:
- Remove collar from packaging.
- Unroll collar and remove the small plastic connectors from inside the collar, ensuring that no remnants remain.
- Insert the end of the collar through the buckle and loops.
- Adjust the collar around your cat's neck until it fits comfortably on them.
- Two fingers should fit beneath the collar and neck to ensure it is not too tight. Any excess length of the collar beyond an inch past the loops should be cut off unless it is on a growing kitten, where some additional length may be needed for adjustment as the kitten grows. Also, make sure the collar cannot be pulled over the head.
- Check periodically and adjust fit if necessary, especially if you have a kitten that is rapidly growing.
When fitting your pet's collar, make sure you can slip two fingers in between the collar and your pet's neck.
