Royal Canin Size Health Nutrition Giant Breed Puppy Dry Dog Food Directions:
- The below feeding recommendation should only be used as a guide
- Optimal Feeding amounts may vary according to your dog's temperament, activity level, and environment
- If you have any questions regarding your pet's health, please contact your veterinarian.
- Ensure fresh drinking water is available to your pet at all times.
- Kibble color may vary due to natural ingredients.
- Slowly moving your pet onto a new food over at least 7 days is recommended to ensure their comfort and help them adapt to their new food.
- Transition Instructions: On Day 1 and Day 2, mix 75% of the old diet with 25% of the new diet. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the old diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the old diet with 75% of the new diet. On the 7th day, you can feed the new food exclusively.

Incorporate slow feeding methods, such as puzzle feeders or feeding toys. Since giant breed puppies are prone to rapid growth, controlled feeding can help prevent issues like bloat and orthopedic problems. Boga LOVES IT!
Put our Kangal/Alabai puppy on RC Giant Puppy at 8 weeks and he is now 12 weeks and started his second bag. He's looking great, full of energy, and LOVES his RC Kibble!! I don't know the science, RC does, but I ca see the results and want to ensure I'm giving Boga the Best start I can....soooo Important for Giant Breed dogs!

Perfect for the big babies!
I am on month four of feeding my English Mastiff puppy the Royal Canin Giant Breed puppy food and I don't think I could be happier! My husband and I wanted to make sure Boudica (Boo for short) got the best start possible when we brought her home and we did a lot of research into the best options for nutrition including speaking to multiple vets and doing our own research. Royal Canin was the only brand that we could find that provided a food specifically designed for these giant puppy breeds who grow so rapidly in their first year that often times their nutritional needs can be very complex. Boo has enjoyed every bite and never gives us issues in eating all of her food. It can sometimes be nerve racking when you are feeding such large amounts of food to a puppy but having the feeding guidelines on the back have saved my sanity more than a couple of times. Every puppy visit at the vet, Boo has received a total clean bill of health and many veterinary staff have commented on her build and how healthy she looks. Thank you Royal Canin for helping to keep my big baby happy. <3

Horrible for giant breed puppies
Too much of everything! This is HORRIBLE for bone growth. Danes should not have this much proteins/calcium etc. Please fix this Royal Canin!
