How does Rederox® (deracoxib) Chewable Tablets work?
Rederox® (deracoxib) Chewable Tablets control pain and inflammation associated with Osteoarthritis, postoperative pain and inflammation associated with orthopedic surgery, and postoperative pain and inflammation associated with dental surgery in dogs.

Storage:
Keep this and all medication out of reach of children and pets. Store out of reach of dogs and other pets in a secured location in order to prevent accidental ingestion or overdose. Rederox Chewable Tablets should be Store at 20° to 25°C (68° to 77°F), excursions permitted between 15 and 30°C (between 59 and 86°F). Use within 90 days of splitting.

Rederox (deracoxib) Chewable Tablets is a non-narcotic, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) of the coxib class. Rederox Chewable Tablets are round, light brown colored, chewable tablets that contain deracoxib formulated with beefy flavoring.

All dogs should undergo a thorough history and physical examination before using Rederox.
How should Rederox® (deracoxib) Chewable Tablets be given?

What are the potential side effects of Rederox® (deracoxib) Chewable Tablets?
As with all drugs in this class, side effects involving the digestive system (vomiting, decreased appetite, and diarrhea), kidneys, or liver may occur. Some of these side effects, in rare situations, may be serious, resulting in hospitalization or even death. Pet owners should be advised to discontinue treatment if side effects occur and contact their veterinarian.
What happens if I miss giving a dose of Rederox® (deracoxib) Chewable Tablets?
Give the missed dose as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next regularly scheduled dose, skip the missed dose and give the next one as directed. Do not give a double dose of the medication.
What happens if I overdose my pet on Rederox® (deracoxib) Chewable Tablets?

Rederox® (deracoxib) Chewable Tablets Directions:
- Rederox Chewable Tablets should be given according to your veterinarian’s instructions.
- Your veterinarian will tell you what amount of Rederox Chewable Tablets is right for your dog and for how long they should be given.
- Do not change the way you give Rederox Chewable Tablets to your dog without first speaking with your veterinarian.
- Rederox Chewable Tablets should be given by mouth and may be given with or without food, although with food is preferable.
Dogs needing a dose of less than 12.5 mg can only be accurately dosed through use of the 12 mg tablet, which can be broken in half to provide 6 mg. Do not attempt to accurately dose smaller dogs through the use of breaking larger tablets.
