Purina Pro Plan Calming Care has been a Lifesaver!
A veterinarian recommended Calming Care (packets of a pro-biotic) that you sprinkle over the food of an anxious, grieving or dog like mine, who was a traumatized rescue dog. Gracie had been dumped by a breeder in the low country of SC and had been on her own as a year old standard poodle puppy in the cold, harsh, wet weather of December & January before she was captured by animal control and then rescued by a poodle rescue group. I adopted her on 2/1/25. Apparently, Gracie had been through a lot and had PTSD which showed up in different ways. I sprinkle some of Calming Care over her food each day. It's not a sedative, but has a calming effect and takes the edge off. It's been a miracle for me as she acclimates to our home where we shower her with lots of love. I can't say enough about this subtle calming product. It is a superior, high quality product and I will recommend to everyone who's pets may be going through the loss of another pet or a newly adopted pet trying to settle in, etc. 5 stars!!!!

Helps calm down anxious dogs
If you don't want to give your dog anxiety medication this will help but be patient it may take one or more boxes of calming care to see positive results. It does work but is not a quick fix.
