- EVERY DOG IS DIFFERENT Just like you, your dog is a unique individual so feeding amounts will vary.
- Use the Feeding Chart as an initial guide, monitor your portions accordingly.
- For dogs greater than 60lbs, please visit acana.com for feeding instructions.
- Feed twice daily and always provide fresh, clean water.
- GESTATION: Increase from 25% to 50% of the adult amount.
- LACTATION: Feed 'free choice'.
- PUPPIES: At 1 ½ - 3 months old, feed twice the adult amount.
- At 3-6 months, feed 1 ½ times the adult amount.
- At 6-11 months, feed 1 ¼ times the adult amount.
- 8 oz bag = approximately 13 scoops in a bag 14 oz bag = approximately 16 medallions in a bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our dog is very picky when it comes to food/treats, so when I can find treats that she likes, I'm super happy. What makes me even happier is when the treats are from a great company and have solid, and limited, ingredients.
Though dogs can eat these as apart of their meals instead of kibble etc., I use these as treats due to how much my dog loves them. They're a little smelly, but that's why they work (and it's not bad smelling per say, but they do have a distinct smell).
If I put these into an enrichment toy, my dog can go after it for quite a while until she has every single treat out of it. These have been a game changer, whether it's the duck like this one, or any other treats from Vital Essentials.

Great for Traveling & Hearty Dog Meal
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently I came across Acana's Freeze-Dried Morsels, which I found quite interesting as I had never used such a product before. I opted for the Duck Recipe which has natural and recognizable ingredients, hoping that it would help my Belgian Shepherd's coat and sensitivities. The morsels are lightweight, cylindrical in shape, and easy to break, making them suitable for both of my senior dogs to chew, whether used as a topper or treat.
These morsels can also be used as a complete meal by adding half a cup of warm water per cup of food. My dogs absolutely love the smell of this hearty meal, and they devour it no matter which form! Primarily I prefer using these morsels as a topper since my little dog has lost weight as she is aging, and this will be an excellent way to help her regain mass. Additionally, the compact bag this food comes in is perfect for traveling, and you can use them in a variety of ways!

The girls LOVE these
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8 year old rescue mix goes absolutely googly eyed when I get the bag of these food toppers out. Since she was so excited, I started using these as a high value food and used them for training. JACKPOT! I had her excited attention and she was very eager to participate. Since I knew they were made with quality ingredients, I knew giving her a few at a time would still be healthy unlike regular training treats. I also gave some on top of food when she wasn't keen on eating - just 1/4 cup on top had her very excited. I'll be continuing to buy these for training instead of using carb filled treats that are less healthy. A+ for sure!
