FAQ - PetMeds® Rewards Program
Who can join the program?
Members must be 18 years or older, a resident of the United States or certain areas of Canada, and have one account listed with us. If multiple accounts exist for one member, only one account is eligible to join.
Is there a cost involved to become a member?
No. This program is free to join!
Will I receive a membership card?
No. In the spirit of saving trees and our environment, a physical card will not be issued. Your PetMeds® Points balance will be communicated on a regular basis via email. Redemption of points will be automatically applied at the shopping cart page online, as long as you are logged in. For redemption over the phone, your name and phone number must be supplied and the automatic credit will be deducted from your order.
Can I share my membership with my family or friends?
The membership belongs solely to the account holder.
How can I check to see my balance?
Your PetMeds® Points balance will be communicated on a regular basis via email.
I forgot my password.
A forgot password link is available at the account sign-in page.
Can I change my online profile user name?
Yes, just update your email at PetMeds.com or call Customer Care at 1-800-738-6337.
If a family has more than one shopper, can they have multiple accounts?
Yes, each family member may have a separate account. Note that the points may not be transferred to other accounts.
Is my data protected?
Yes, PetMeds® uses the highest security standards in the industry and we do not sell or share personal information to any entity.
How are points calculated?
For each $1 spent, 1 PetMeds® Point will be added to your balance.
Can I accumulate my points?
Once a balance of 250 PetMeds® Points has been achieved, a $5 loyalty credit will automatically be applied to your account for use on your next purchase.
How long are the points valid for?
1 year from date of earning 250 PetMeds® Points.
How do I know if I have points expiring?
We will send you a reminder email to ensure you are aware of the expiration date.
When do points appear in my account?
Points will be credited to your account within 5 business days of shipping date.
Do all purchases count toward my points?
Yes, all purchase amounts, less tax and shipping, accumulate points.
What happens to my points if I return an item?
Points previously earned on a product that is returned are deducted from your points balance.
Can I redeem my points and apply a special offer at the time of purchase?
Yes, you can use your points and any applicable promotional offers in combination.
How do I stop receiving PetMeds® emails?
To opt out of email communications, log into your account, go to Settings and Email Preferences.
