Definitely not for my Dog Son!!!
First, I wanna say that this big bag did not have any Freeze dried chicken whatsoever not even one chunk. But my major problem is that Giannis started having bad diarrhea and vomiting after a week of eating instinct brand. I stopped, feeding him the food and started to feed him white rice and poached chicken for a week and his stool went back to normal. Started incorporating the food again mixing it with the rice and chicken, after a week I Stop feeding him the rice and chicken and just fed him. The food only diarrhea and vomiting came back immediately the same day. Can’t speak for any other dogs, but to my dog this is not the food for him.

Lacking raw boost kibble
Very disappointed , the amount of raw boost is not very consistent in each bag . It can be from quite a bit to barely any ... too expensive to not have consistency ...

No Freeze Dried Raw
I saw the other post and had to make a comment. There is BASICALLY NO KIBBLE RAW at all in our bag. For the price we pay, we are not getting the quality our dogs receive. If you are interested in this brand/type, I would suggest you to look into our brands. It was disappointing because my dog used to love this!

Recently skimping out on the freeze dried raw bits
I used to always buy this dog food and my dogs LOVED it, but I don’t know what happened with the recipe or how it’s made but it’s completely changed. There used to be TONS of visible freeze dried raw bits ( just like the picture on the packaging) and now it is really difficult to find any. It looks like regular kibble! Even the dogs haven’t been eating it as much. Please look into this Instinct because your dog food is amazing, it’s just been disappointing the last couple months.

Concern about legumes and Heart Disease
My dogs loved this food but I stopped when the FDA warning came out about possible link with grain free dog foods that legumes,such as peas, potatoes, lentils chickpeas or other legumes as the first four ingredients. If Instinct would change their formula I would buy it again, but I won't risk it even though the FDA is inconclusive and has an open investigation. it is just not worth the chance. Please remove peas as your fourth ingredient
