Saved my both my dog and I.
When Gunnar was only about 5 month old he started having constant, urgent, and painful bloody diarrhea. After much trial and error with different foods I realized he can no longer digest meat. Several trips to the vet including an overnight stay resulted in a prescription for this Hills Z/D hydrolyzed chicken protein diet. What makes hydrolyzed meat different from regular meat is that the proteins in the hydrolyzed food are broken down to be so small, that they are digestible even by dogs who otherwise cannot digest meat protein. Gunnar thrives on this food to this day and will likely need to stay on it forever. Though my beloved dog is now with a new family, I will forever be grateful to Hills and all it has done for us.

Doesn’t like it
Just started on this and my dog does not like it. He only eats when he is hungry other than that he smells it and walks away. He is no longer excited about eating . He use to get so excited and tail wagging, now only seems depressing

My 2 month review of food
My Katie has been having issues with farmers food for 6 years with bloody stool and vomiting. I finally had enough and tried science diet xd after a full blood workup and recomendation from my vet. At first all of her rust marks on her face and eye went away and she. Became super happy and playful and not aggressive and grumpy. It was a amazing. About 6 weeks in I have noticed the rust around the eyes and mouth have came back and she has gained a lot of weight 5 pounds. I don't even feed her the recommended amount. Her poop is like soft served icecream which is frustrating and having to clean her butt constantly or she gets it everywhere. She isn't throwing up anymore and her stools I haven't noticed arnt slimy bloody but I have noticed little amount here and there in the morning blood. The positive she is super playful with her brother just concerned with the rust comming back and the icecream poop is it going to ever be better.

Thankful Relief!!
My pup, Dixie, suddenly had severe stomach issues with liquid diarreah and vomiting. She was really sick. After a myriad of tests, my vet felt strongly that her problem was a dietary issue and recommended Food Sensitivities z/d. After two days on this food, I am relieved and thrilled that ALL issues have been resolved. While her “hooman” doesn’t love the consistency and feel of the food, Dixie completely disagrees with me and “woofs” it down! She is usually an incredibly picky eater but loves this food and its accompanying kibble too!

Saved my dog
Several years ago my dachshund mix was diagnosed with extreme food sensitivity ( bloody diarrhea, vomiting). I was afraid we were going to lose him as no over the counter limited ingredient food seemed to help. I switched vets & the new vet recommended putting him on the z/d food exclusively. My boy is now nearly 17 years old and still healthy for his age! Thank You Science Diet

Prescribed Z/D Solved Digestive Issues
My Furbaby was having terrible stomach issues, every time she would eat other foods immediately she would start vomiting and having diarrhea. My vet prescribed medications and put her on the Z/D prescription food sensitivity wet food . This food has been a blessing 🙏she loves this food and no more stomach issues. Great product if I could just get it out of the can
My Maltese has such food allergies and was getting ill with diarrhea and vomiting. The vet recommended this product and it has made a huge difference.
I do want to complain about the new pull tab can top. I buy the larger can and split it into equal portions that I keep in the refrigerator. The old can I had to use a can opener but it would come out in one large piece that I could portion out. The new design the can opening is smaller than the product and it is very difficult to get out

Z/D Cant get passed the smell!
I smell of this product is disgusting. I question every time I feed my dog why I am feeding this horrible smelling food!
