What is DOUXO Micellar Solution?
DOUXO Micellar Solution is an ear cleanser for both dogs and cats. The gentle, soothing solution can also be used to clean skin folds, eye contours, and soiled and matted hair. DOUXO Solution is a non-greasy and non-staining treatment that soothes and washes out waxy debris without drying the skin.

How does DOUXO Micellar Solution work?
DOUXO Micellar Solution contains soap-free, gentle cleansing agents and moisturizers that clean the ear canal and other areas of the body while soothing any irritations. The solution also contains Phytosphingosine, which helps rebuild and support a healthy skin barrier.
Cautions:
For external use on dogs and cats only. Avoid contact with the eyes. In case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly and consult your veterinarian. If irritation occurs or increases, discontinue use and consult with your veterinarian. Do not use in the case of a suspected ruptured eardrum.
Douxo Micellar Solution Directions:
- Shake bottle well before use.
- Ask your veterinarian whether he or she recommends moistening a cotton ball with the solution and placing it in the entrance of the ear canal, OR holding the ear flap upwards and filling the ear canal with the solution.
- Gently massage the base of the ear for 60 seconds and then remove the cotton ball (if used).
- Allow your pet to shake his or her head, and then remove any debris and excess solution with a dry, clean cotton ball.
- To clean other areas of the skin, moisten a cotton ball or gauze with the solution and gently wipe the area clean and remove visible debris.
Tip:
Try to avoid contact of the applicator's tip with your pet's skin to help avoid contaminating the remaining solution in the bottle.
