| Vet Review | I have found the glucosamine product Arthramine an economical tasty alternative to some of the more expensive joint supplements. I also like the addition of omega 3 fatty acids to the formula which also seem to help relief inflamed joints. Through regular use I have found that Arthramine relieves joint stiffness, arthritis pain and inflammation. I like the fact that it is made with all natural ingredients and in a formulation that most dogs love. It is very convenient to administer to especially larger breed dogs. The only rare problem I have seen is the development of occasional diarrhea in a rare pet. However I give this product an overall rating of 4.5 out of 5. | Glyco-Flex I is a wonderful product is for those pets with early or mild arthritis. Not only does this formula have the Perna Canaliculus of the original classic formula, but additional glucosamine added helps add to the joint stabilizing effect of this supplement. This is one of the most common products I will use in younger dogs as a preventative supplement, or dogs/breeds predisposed to hip or other joint dysfunction. For pets that have more serious joint problems. I will often use the more advanced formula Glycoflex II or Glycol-flex III products. However for those pets with mild or early arthritis this will be one of the first products I will reach for off of the shelf. I only rarely see diarrhea in treated pets, and am happy to give this product an overall ranking of 4.5 out of 5. | Being a more holistic oriented veterinarian, I am always searching for more natural effective products to ease our pets pain and discomfort, especially those joint issues associated with aging. I find this combination of homeopathic medicines most effective in those acute injuries or lameness that occur suddenly, In such situations this product is highly effective in relieving discomfort, and in returning our pets to normal mobility and function quite quickly. However when this product is used more long term for chronic conditions, I find that it will often lose its effectiveness if used alone or without some sort of prescription nonsteroidal anti inflammatory medication from your veterinarian, or other joint supplements. I find that combination homeopathic medicines like this make a great adjunct to first aid conventional veterinary care, however if clients truly want to treat their animals long term homeopathically for joint problems, that is best left to a trained classical homeopathic veterinarian who can individualize treatment for your particular pet. I give this product an overall rating of 4. Its ease of use is a 5 and its efficacy is a 4. |
