1-800-PetMeds Be Soothed Shampoo is a dog shampoo made with tea tree oil and aloe vera. Be Soothed Shampoo relieves bacterial, fungal, and yeast infections on the skin. It is an ideal shampoo for all dogs and puppies over 8 weeks of age, and is especially helpful in killing bacteria associated with scratches, surface wounds, and hot spots. To help skin irritations between baths, use Be Soothed Spray.

How does Be Soothed Shampoo work?

The tea tree oil ingredient has curative properties to help restore the skin, and reduce pain and itching symptoms associated with skin infections. Aloe vera helps to soothe irritated skin.

Cautions:

Do not use on cats. 1-800-PetMeds Be Soothed. Tea Tree Oil Skin Relief is for external use on puppies and dogs 8 weeks of age or older only. Avoid getting spray in your dog's eyes. Apply to a cloth to apply product to face and surrounding area. This shampoo contains 0.5% Tree Tea Oil in this formulation which contributes to the helpful bacterial and fungal killing action associated with wounds, hot spots, and surface scratches. This Tea Tree Oil does, however, in certain cases cause a toxicity if the pet is sensitive to it due to size, the dose used, or allergy. It may be advisable to try the product on a small area to test for possible allergy before using all over the body.
