How should Advantage Treatment Spray be used:
Advantage Treatment Spray comes in a convenient spray bottle, and repels and kills fleas, ticks and lice on your dog or cat. It contains three active ingredients that all work together to kill adult fleas, flea eggs, and flea larvae, which stops the fleas' lifecycle and leaves your pet completely flea-free. Along with fleas, Advantage Treatment Spray for dogs and cats also kills ticks that may carry Lyme disease, and lice, which just like fleas and ticks feed on your pet's blood. Cover your pet's eyes with one hand. Do not spray directly in mouth, nose or eyes. Spray your pet's head, ears and chest until damp. With your fingertips, rub into your pet's face and around the mouth, nose and eyes. Then spray pet from neck to tail, finishing at your pet's legs. For best penetration of spray to skin and on heavy-coated pets, directly spray against the natural lay of the hair, spraying the ruffled hair directly behind the head. Make sure to thoroughly wet ticks. When used on cats and miniature and toy breeds of dogs, towel dry after hour if not totally dry. Avoid contact with your pet's genitalia. Repeat as required but not more often than every 7 days (1 week).
For puppies over 6 months and kittens over 7 months:
Wrap your puppy or kitten in a towel that has been sprayed lightly with Advantage Treatment Spray. Leave your pet's eyes, nose and mouth exposed. Put some spray on your finger and gently rub around your pet's eyes, nose and mouth area. Keep your pet wrapped up for 5-10 minutes. Fleas may then be removed from the coat by picking or combing them. For best results, all pets in your home should be treated with this product to prevent reinfestation. Do not spray directly onto your puppy or kitten and avoid the genitalia. Repeat as required, but not more than once every 14 days (2 weeks).
