Acana Highest Protein Meadowland Grain Free Dry Dog Food Directions:
- Just like you, your puppy or dog is a unique individual and their feeding requirements will vary with breed, environment, age and activity.
- Use the below feeding guide as a starting point, and monitor your puppy or dog’s weight, adjusting amounts as needed.
- Feed your pet twice daily and always keep fresh, clean water available.
- SMALL & MEDIUM PUPPIES: 1 1/2-3 Months: Feed 2x the Adult amount.
- 3-6 Months: Feed 1 1/2x the Adult amount.
- 6- 11 Months: Feed 1 1/4x the Adult amount.
- GESTATION: Increase the adult daily feeding amount by 25% to 50%
- LACTATION: Feed "free choice."
- See your veterinarian regularly.
Tip:
When switching diets, it’s important to transition your dog or puppy as it takes time for her digestive system to adapt to the richer nutrient levels in ACANA. Over a 5-7 day period, gradually mix in ACANA, increasing the amount each day so that by day 7 you are feeding 100% ACANA.

High in Ash Content
It was too bad that Acana changed the recipe. I used to buy your dog food, but since I know there is and an 8% of ash content, I decide to change to another brand. I think my dogs are reluctant to eat them, too.

Nova LOVES Meadowland!

Love Acana
My chocolate Lab JAX, has been eating Meadowland since we got him at 14 wks old.. He still gobbles it up to this day.. A friend of mine who breeds introduced it to me and how great it was. He has had no allergies and has a nice shinny coat. I also feel this healthy food contributes to his clockwork of 1 morning and 1 evening elimination routine. :)

French Bulldog Breeder - ONLY PRODUCT WE use
Acana is the only product we use for our adult dogs and to whelp our puppies! They use the best ingredients and avoid useless fillers.
Our dogs do not have any skin allergies, gas, or soft /mushy stools. ALL of our dogs fur is so shiny and soft.
We add Acana sample packs to all of our puppy care packages because it's a brand we trust!

Goldens get heart problems
My golden has been on it for years and loved it. BUT, we happened to have her x-rayed and discovered a heart enlargement. We then were told by the dog heart specialist (and our vet) that some of the dog foods that substitute legumes for grain have incidence of heart problems, especially with goldens. We had to switch dog food and give our dog Taurine suppliments to get her heart back into shape.

Awesome food
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 10 year old pitbull loves this food. I have never had to actually give her her amount and she has to wait for her next feeding. Usually I just left her bowl out. She is alot more active, playful and very very happy. This is the happiest I've seen her in years. Thank you so much for your awesome products.
