A targeted, warm, soothing treatment for temporary muscular soreness caused by overexertion, minor injuries, or arthritis pain, our liniment gel can also be used preventatively to loosen stiff joints, muscles, and tendons before work.

Liniments are mild stimulants to the circulatory system that hasten and assist nature in returning a fatigued muscle, joint or tendon to normal. Absorbine Liniment Gel combines the same time honored blend of Calendula, Echinacea and Wormwood herbs as our trusted Absorbine® Veterinary Liniment. From soothing aches and stiffness to treating common skin and hoof conditions, this versatile liniment is truly a “medicine chest in a bottle.” Rub directly into sore joints and muscles, or use diluted as a refreshing body wash.

Caution:

Use only as directed. For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. If skin irritation develops or symptoms persist for more than 10 days, discontinue use. For severe injuries, consult a veterinarian. For animal use only. WARNING: Flammable. Keep away from fire, sparks and heated surfaces.

  • INDICATIONS:Veterinary Liniment Gel relieves the pain and swelling of joints and muscles due to minor injuries, over exertion and arthritis.
  • Arthritis:A common condition in older horses, Absorbine Gel helps to loosen stiff, arthritic joints and reduce the swelling. Deep penetrating heat soothes the pain and swelling of tissues due to arthritis. Rub on stiff joints before and after turn out to increase pain relief.
  • Body Wash:Mix into a cooling body wash to refresh a tired horse while the astringents wash away sweat and dirt. Recipe- mix 4 oz. of Absorbine and 8 oz. vinegar with 24 oz. of water. Use mixture to sponge over the horse.
  • Back, Shoulder, & Flank:For relief of soreness and stiffness, rub Absorbine Gel in thoroughly. Apply three times daily. Do not apply Gel under the saddle area if you're going to ride the horse after treatment.
  • Hoof Disinfectant:The formula penetrates into the porous hoof sole and frog to disinfect. Apply once a week to help prevent bacterial and fungal infections. Use daily to treat common hoof conditions such as abscesses, cracks, delamination, Thrush and White Line Disease.
  • Legs and Joints:To relieve pain and reduce swelling of the legs, rub Absorbine Gel in thoroughly three or more times a day. To speed effectiveness, apply gel with the lay of the hair and lightly wrap. Absorbine Gel is also effective for pre-workout rubs and post-workout 'set up' wraps. For fast relief of temporary muscular and joint soreness, swelling and stiffness, apply to sore areas by rubbing liquid into skin. May be applied two or more times a day.
  • Muscle Soreness:Apply to affected areas and cover with a blanket.
  • Shipping: During transportation, many horses injure their lower legs in the trailer or they 'stock up' from prolonged standing. Shipping wraps are recommended to prevent injuries and Absorbine Gel is safe and effective under porous wraps in reducing swelling.
  • Skin Infection:Kills germs on contact and stops the itch in seconds. Use to clean and treat bacterial skin conditions such as Rain Rot, Scratches, Summer Itch and Tail Itch. Apply to infected area three times a week.

Finally, something that works!!
I’ve tried a lot of creams and ointments for the pain in my knees, prescription and OTC. This has a pleasant odor that dissipates quickly and pain relief that lasts.

Awesome product!
Bought this for my 20+ aging horses. They're having times of being stiff in joints. It has helped a lot. At 1st they weren't to keen on it, then as it did its magic my 2 horses were very accepting of it being applied.

Best liniment on the market
I have always used this liniment on my horses legs and back after riding, especially my jumpers. Occasionally even used it on my own back on sore muscles. Really penetrates and relieves the tightness.

Keeps my old guys moving
I’ve been using this gel for years to help with sore muscles and relieve mild arthritis pain in our pleasure horses. It’s super easy to apply and works great. Our 32 year old especially loves when I apply the gel, he moves much more comfortably afterwards. It’s not a magic cure for his arthritis, but definitely helps him feel better.
