Pet Parents are Invited to Enter “Happy Howlidays PetMeds® Giveaway” Delray Beach, Florida, December 02, 2022 – According to the American Pet Products Association (APPA), it’s becoming increasingly common for pet parents to celebrate the holidays with their pets, with 35% of cat owners and 45% of dog owners reportedly planning to get their pets gifts this year. Pet parents are also finding new ways to include pets in longstanding holiday traditions. For example, many are making Advent calendars full of dog treats instead of chocolates, wrapping up a new toy for each night of Hanukkah, or stuffing Christmas stockings full of favorite treats. New holiday traditions, too, are becoming the norm for families with pets. Pet parents can take their dog for an evening walk to take in the neighborhood light displays or get their cat matching pajamas for the annual family photo. The holidays are also a time for pets to give back by signing a holiday card to send to their favorite vet or groomer with a pawprint, or even “sponsoring” a donation of money or supplies to their alma mater animal shelter. “Cats and dogs may not understand why they get extra treats or toys around the holidays, though they surely appreciate them,” says Larissa Schenck, director of marketing at PetMeds®. “But what truly makes the holidays special for pets is making memories and being treated as a part of the family.” Pet parents are invited to celebrate the holiday season by entering the “Happy Howlidays” giveaway for a chance to win a cat or dog prize pack from PetMeds®. The cat prize pack will include Inaba Churu Cat Treat/Topper Chicken Variety-10 pack, Catnip Garden 4 oz. bag, and a Natural Pet Woolly Mouse Cat toy. For dogs, the prize pack will include a set of 2 Fundog Christmas Bandanas, Christmas Bark Turkey & Carrots Dog Treats 5 oz., and a Gingerbread Crinkle Dog Toy. Two grand prize winners will receive a Paw Print Frame. About PetMeds® |
