Works well so far
My cat had to jump to this after Methio-form vanished. He has not had any bladder crystals in months; I think over a year now. It's not yummy like a treat but if crushed to powder it will mix into canned food well enough. It's helpful if kitty is actually hungry when he's being fed (as compared to those with 24/7 food access). Kitty also eats a little Science Diet c/d, but it isn't enough to keep him under control. Canned versions of that food are way too expensive. This is a great compromise.

An excellent product
Some years ago my cat had urinary problems. My vet prescribed Methionine and I have been using it ever since. Crush up the pills and add it to the food. My cat has no problem eating it. Follow your vet's instructions.

Cats like it
We crush it up and add a little olive oil to the food and stir so it clings a little. The first day the only looked for an hour but one tasted it and said great and the other four joined in. they seem to like it jst fine.

cats will not eat with fod
I tried this product as an alternative to Methio-form which has not been available for some time. Methio-Form mixes well with food and the cats took with no problem. This product does NOT mix well with food, and apparently is not palatable because neither of our cats will eat their food if it is mixed in. I have thrown out a whole bottle. Can you advise if and when methio form will be available once more?
