About this product

What is Dasuquin Soft Chews For Dogs?

Dasuquin Soft Chews provide comprehensive joint health for dogs. They contain proprietary ingredients, which go above and beyond standard glucosamine/chondroitin sulfate supplements. Plus, they are tasty and easy to administer since your dog will just think they are a treat.

For:

Dogs

Benefits:

  • Supports joint comfort
  • Inhibits certain enzymes that breakdown cartilage
  • Support cartilage matrix production

How it Works:

Dasuquin contains avocado/soybean unsaponifiables (ASU), which have shown to help protect cartilage and improve joint function. The ASU also helps potentiate the activity of Glucosamine and chondroitin. The combination of all three ingredients supports cartilage production and blocks enzymes that break down cartilage in your pet's body. Glucosamine is a natural compound that is found in healthy cartilage in both humans and pets. It helps hydrate healthy joints by increasing the production of molecules that bind and hold water in the cartilage. Healthy cartilage provides cushioning which helps protect a pet's joints while exercising. Further research on the effectiveness of glucosamine is still needed, but many of our customers find it to be very beneficial to their pets.

Breed Havanese
Like magic!
Some years ago I purchased Dasuquin as recommended by my vet. My Havanese pulled something in her leg as she jumped off a high bed. She has been on it for probably 10 years and at age 15 she can run around like a teenager! It really is a great product! Told my dog friends about it and two of them have been happy with the results!

Breed mixed beagle / terrier
I'm so thankful
I had 2 labs that were put on some expensive medication by our vet at age 13, they were 1 year apart. By age 14 each they could no longer stand so they had to be put asleep. Now my mixed beagle/terrier at age 10 started limping real bad and he could always run very fast and jump very high at only 25 lbs., not any longer. I checked PetMeds to see what I could find, I got DASUQUIN Soft Chews. He still limped but not so much. I took him to his vet and he was happy with the medicine and told me sense it was helping to continue it but I wanted to make sure he didn't injure it. After a few months he wasn't limping so I stopped medicine. And in 3 days he would start limping so back on the medication. In a week he stopped again, so off the medication. In 3 days back on the medicine and next time off medicine for a week then limped for a few days and able to stop medicine again. He hasn't limped sense and that's been a couple of months now. He's able to do everything he always did before and you can tell he's also happy again along with me. I don't think he would have healed without this medicine. I'm a 67 widower and I'm sure these are the last 2 dogs I'll have, I'm so thankful that he's okay.

Tasty and effective
My 6yr old Lab/Husky mix began showing signs of a partial tear in her ACL. I immediately started her on these, along with CBD oil and a Tempur-pedic bed. 2.5 months later, she’s running and active. Even after napping, she gets up without any limping. I’ve been told these aren’t a bad idea to start your dog on if you know they’ll be prone to hip and knee issues. Also, my dog eats these as if they’re treats. I place one on top of her food in the morning and she always eats it first!

Made my dog sick!
I was told by my vet to buy this for my dog. This was an expensive mistake. After a week or so my dog didn’t want to eat them then started with the vomiting and diarrhea.

Breed Boxer / Pug Mix
Cant See the Results
My Lovely "Arya" has had some issues. First she ruptured her Left Knee ACL requiring TPLO surgery back in August 2016. Shortly after that I started her on Dasuquin Soft Chew for Dogs under 60lbs. We followed the directions for the first week giving her 2 a day. The first few treats of this product she ate with no problem, it was something new. Very quickly my little princess discovered it was not so much a treat and refused to take them without competition from one of her friend dogs that comes over daily. Long story I know but the fact that this product has not given her any benefit that I can see to date. Side note three weeks ago she had surgery to remove the plate installed with her TPLO surgery as it was causing a Staff infection. As soon as the plate was removed i noticed a considerable better use of her Left leg. What is normal but not so good is her Right Knee is showing what I can only say is a tear in her ACL, making her Left leg the primary and her Right going lame. We go on regular walks and I have cut her food and Treats down to manage her weight, but sorry to say she will need in time surgery for her right knee. So if you have read this comment so far you may ask what do I think of this product. My answer is I still don't know, but anyone that thinks this supplement is a cure for an issue you have with your dog I'm not sure you will get the results your looking for. You will have to give it a try and see how your dog reacts to it.
